Sage Home Loans is on a mission to revolutionize the industry by making mortgage simple. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution across paid media, organic growth, web experience, and content strategy. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for driving qualified demand, optimizing the full digital journey, and scaling modern search strategies—including SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). You’ll partner cross-functionally to turn insight into action, elevate our brand presence, and create measurable growth in a fast-moving, regulated environment.
What You’ll Do:
Paid Media & Digital Acquisition
- Own strategy, execution, and optimization across paid search, paid social, display, and emerging digital media channels
- Manage budget allocation, bidding strategy, audience targeting, creative testing, and pacing to maximize ROAS and CPL performance
- Implement rigorous A/B testing across creative, landing pages, and audience segments to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all advertising aligns with mortgage regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Search Strategy: SEO, AEO & GEO
- Develop and execute a modern search roadmap that expands beyond traditional SEO to include AEO and GEO strategies
- Optimize for high-intent queries, featured snippets, voice search, AI-generated responses, and emerging search surfaces
- Partner with content and product teams to improve technical SEO, site architecture, crawlability, and schema implementation
- Monitor rankings, share of voice, and AI search visibility using advanced analytics tools
Web Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Own the end-to-end digital conversion funnel from ad click to application start
- Lead landing page strategy and optimization efforts to increase engagement, reduce drop-off, and improve qualified lead flow
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, and analytics teams to test, iterate, and deploy site enhancements quickly
- Use behavioral data, heatmaps, and funnel reporting to identify friction points and drive measurable lift
Content Strategy & Management
- Oversee digital content strategy to support demand generation, brand authority, and client education
- Align editorial calendars with paid media, search priorities, and product initiatives
- Ensure content reflects Sage’s client-first mindset and simplifies complex mortgage topics
- Optimize content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels
Analytics, Reporting & Ownership
- Establish clear KPIs across acquisition, engagement, and conversion
- Build dashboards and present performance insights to senior stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Maintain accurate tagging, attribution, and CRM integrations across all digital properties
- Continuously evaluate and refine martech stack to improve measurement and scalability
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Compliance, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams to align marketing strategy with business goals
- Bring an ownership mindset to initiatives—thinking beyond campaigns to long-term impact
- Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and growth modeling
Brand Reputation & Online Presence
- Oversee Sage’s brand reputation across digital platforms, ensuring a consistent, trusted presence wherever clients engage with our brand
- Monitor and manage online reviews and ratings across platforms such as Google, Zillow, social channels, and other relevant industry sites
- Partner with Sales, Client Experience, and Operations teams to encourage authentic client feedback and increase review volume
- Analyze review trends and client sentiment to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and marketing messaging
- Develop strategies to strengthen Sage’s digital reputation and ensure our brand reflects the exceptional service we deliver to clients
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing with deep expertise in paid media, SEO, and conversion optimization
- Demonstrated success managing performance budgets and driving measurable revenue growth
- Strong understanding of AEO, GEO, and evolving AI-driven search ecosystems
- Experience leading landing page strategy and CRO testing frameworks
- Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, CRM integrations, and modern analytics platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategy
- Experience in regulated industries such as mortgage, fintech, or financial services
- Ownership mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where speed, precision, and accountability matter
