Under the direction of a supervisor or designated individual, the Senior Dietary Worker performs a variety of duties as required by the area assigned within the department. Rotation among areas is required, including but not limited to the following: storeroom, tray assembly and distribution, cold food preparation, hot food preparation, sanitation, equipment cleaning, packaging, dish and pot washing, waste disposal, and cafeteria.
The shift for this position is Day Flex, and it includes regular schedules on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and holidays. The location is 5141 Broadway at 220th Street in Manhattan.
Preferred Criteria
Hotel, restaurant, retail experience.
Customer service experience.
Required Criteria
High school diploma or GED.
One year of food service experience.
