Senior DevOps Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

This role is part of our Technology business unit, our offices are home to a diverse and talented team of people across various disciplines. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Microsoft, Samsung, Panasonic, JBL, Adidas and About you.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who can build the best cloud platforms for our clients and project teams and can maintain our existing solutions in the smartest way possible. Someone who can switch gears quickly and knows how to come up with automatic workflows to help our teams to accelerate in their work. 

As a DevOps Engineer, you search together with your colleagues for the best solutions which you independently translate to the perfect end result. You are responsible for building next level cloud platforms and setting up CI/CD pipelines. You work closely with your SRE colleagues to handover the operations to them. You know how to create long-term simplicity and automate everything so your team can deliver quality to our clients. Technology is transforming fast and that is why we are looking for someone who is eager and motivated to work and experiment with new techniques.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Working with a large in-production legacy system with limited documentation
  • Involved in 3 pillars of work
    • Platform modernization to serverless
    • Security standardization and vulnerability management
    • Monitoring standardization
  • Work closely with the wider team, including developers and operations to drive cross-team communication to ensure a smooth transition
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently that may arise during the transition.
  • Architect an automation and deployment system.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Hands on experience with the following technologies AWS, Microsoft servers, Microsoft SQL server database, .NET, ASP .NET, Jenkins, C#
  • Knowledge of Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues
  • Working proficiency in English
