We're looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. We believe in teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and a strong communicator who is enthusiastic about building reliable infrastructure and streamlining the path from code to production.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), focusing on building the "paved road" for our engineering teams. You will work to reduce developer friction by automating complex infrastructure tasks and maintaining the robust CI/CD pipelines that allow us to ship software faster and more safely.
Infrastructure as Code: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
CI/CD Leadership: Develop and optimize automated deployment pipelines that support our "Single Tool Chain" initiative.
Developer Enablement: Create self-service tools and service templates (scaffolding) to help application teams deploy their own services following best practices.
Reliability & Performance: Manage and scale our Kubernetes (EKS) environment, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Collaboration: Act as a bridge between development and operations, mentoring mid-level engineers and advocating for DevOps best practices across the sprint team.
Professional Experience: 5 to 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Software Engineering with a heavy infrastructure focus.
Coding Proficiency: Strong hands-on coding ability. While this role supports infrastructure, we treat our platform as a product. Proficiency in Java (for backend service integration) or Python/Go for automation is essential.
Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with AWS services, specifically EKS, ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Container Orchestration: Expert-level knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including ingress controllers, networking primitives, and resource management.
Platform Tooling: Experience working with or implementing developer portals (like Backstage) and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD or FluxCD).
Software Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the SDLC, unit testing, and maintainable code practices. You don't just "write scripts"; you write production-grade automation.
Mentorship: Proven ability to lead technical projects
