(Senior) Development Partner, Strategy & Planning (IED)

[What the role is]

The Innovation Eco-system Development (IED) division drives the effort to grow more innovative Singapore enterprises and strengthen the innovation and enterprise (I&E) ecosystem in Singapore. We also identify, catalyse and drive local and regional opportunities for market-led innovation, while working with various stakeholders in the public and private sector to support the commercialisation of IP/technology.

[What you will be working on]

As part of the Strategy & Planning team under IED, you will support the team’s strategic planning function to chart out and review Enterprise Singapore’s strategies for developing Singapore’s innovation and startup ecosystem, and grow more innovative enterprises. You will also support the team’s programmes and policy initiatives that help our local enterprises and deep tech startups innovate, develop new products for commercialisation, and scale. You will work closely with both public and private sector partners, as well as internal stakeholders, to grow the enterprises and ecosystem, and ensure alignment with Whole-of-Government (WOG) I&E strategies, including the Research, Innovation & Enterprise 2030 (RIE2030) plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and reviewing strategies to grow Singapore’s innovation and startup ecosystem, and support more enterprises in their innovation journeys;

  • Developing and reviewing specific I&E programmes to evaluate their impact and ensure continued relevance, working closely with other agencies within the I&E ecosystem;

  • Supporting the Innovation Group’s corporate planning functions;

  • Other cross-division/group workstreams supporting enterprise growth.
