Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Development Engineer, you will play a leading role in the technical delivery of enhancements to nbn’s INB systems, guiding the team through the full development lifecycle. You will be responsible for shaping and overseeing activities from requirements clarification through to design, build, testing and deployment, ensuring each step is delivered with precision and care.
Your leadership will help maintain system integrity and performance, and you will act as a key escalation point for production incidents. With a strong focus on collaboration and quality, you will foster efficiency across the delivery team and contribute to a culture of shared accountability and continuous improvement.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, you will likely bring deep experience in software development and technical leadership, with a proven ability to guide high-performing teams through complex system integration projects.
You are confident working across domains and partners, and you thrive in multi-application, multi-sourced environments. Your expertise in cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS, and your knowledge of Graph and NoSQL databases such as JanusGraph and Cassandra, will be highly valued.
You are thoughtful and inclusive in your approach, with a calm and solutions-focused mindset that helps teams navigate challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes. Your ability to lead with purpose and clarity ensures that technology delivery at nbn remains robust, responsive and aligned with our broader goals.
