Senior Designer, New Brand Group

What will you work on?
The Senior Designer is responsible for Designing Toys for the New Brand Group from Sketch to CAD. The Sr. Designer will need to be innovative with a strong understanding of the consumer demographics across all Toy Categories.

How will you create impact?

• Clearly demonstrates a solid understanding of the brands and the competitive environment as it relates to toy products and construction toy brands.
• Partner with Creative Management and Brand Management to set direction for new brands and individual items.
• Delivers innovative results that support brand strategy.
• Works with production team to ensure integrity of design in final deliverables.
• Works with project management to set priorities, schedules and assign projects.
  Manage the timelines of the projects assigned to you.
• Solicit creative direction from the Business unit Lead and Director of Design in a timely manner.
• Develop marketing support materials, creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business development presentations, trade shows and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams as well as overseas freelancers, as necessary, in the product development and approval process.
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies within your area of expertise.
• Follow the Oty industry News, Trends and New product launches.

What are your skills and experience?

• Heightened creative and technical abilities including Conceptual Drawing, Sketching, CAD, Rendering and AI Design knowledge.
• A strong sense of design.
• Good understanding of Mech Design/Engineering a plus.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $75,000 to $95,000 per annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
