Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Design Manager to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Defining and communicating a clear design vision, standards, and guidelines across projects and platforms.
Owning the end-to-end design process from discovery and research through concept development, detailed design, and delivery.
Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
Providing hands-on creative direction and thoughtful feedback on design work to ensure quality, consistency, and usability.
Establishing, evolving, and maintaining design systems and component libraries to create scalable and cohesive experiences.
Championing user-centered design, accessibility, and inclusive practices across all touchpoints.
Using data, research, and experimentation to inform and iterate on design decisions.
Presenting design concepts, rationale, and outcomes to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Contributing to resource planning, project prioritization, and design team operations to ensure timely and effective delivery.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Min 10 years of experience
Proven track record managing or leading design teams on complex, multi-stakeholder projects or products.
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes.
Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
