About This Role

The Senior Data Migration Architect (Microsoft Dynamics 365) at Togetherwork is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for leading data migration and integration efforts across SaaS implementations on the Protech platform.

This role is embedded within Professional Services and plays a critical part in onboarding customers from legacy systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365. The Data Migration Architect works directly with customers and internal delivery teams to assess source data, define transformation logic, and ensure accurate, complete, and scalable data migration into the target system.

The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on experience in data migration, ETL development, and CRM data modeling, with a proven track record of delivering successful implementations in client-facing environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end data migration efforts for customer implementations, from data discovery through transformation and final load
  • Assess source systems, data quality, and migration complexity to establish a clear migration strategy
  • Design and execute ETL processes using tools such as SSIS, KingswaySoft, or similar platforms
  • Define data mapping, transformation, and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, Solution Consultants, and customers to align data migration with overall implementation timelines
  • Serve as a client-facing expert, explaining data structures, migration approaches, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate data risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early in the implementation lifecycle
  • Build and standardize migration playbooks, templates, and reusable frameworks to improve delivery efficiency

How You’ll Measure Success

  • Adoption of a scalable, standardized enterprise data architecture across portfolio products
  • Successful migration of legacy and acquired systems into a unified cloud-native data platform
  • Improved data quality, governance, and security posture
  • High-performing, cost-efficient pipelines with strong observability and reliability
  • Enablement of BI, reporting, and AI initiatives through trusted, analytics-ready data assets
  • Strong cross-functional alignment and measurable improvement in engineering standards

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms in AWS
  • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS data services including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS/Aurora, and EMR
  • Strong experience with cloud-native data lake and warehouse architectures
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience building ETL and ELT pipelines and implementing workflow orchestration tools
  • Strong understanding of IAM, networking, encryption, and AWS security best practices
  • Experience optimizing distributed systems for performance and cost efficiency
  • Experience implementing CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows
  • Experience operating within multi-product or multi-tenant SaaS environments preferred
