Senior Data Governance Advisor – Metadata and Reference Data (Pet)

United States - Remote Full time
Are you passionate about being part of a team that delivers extraordinary care to help individuals and businesses prepare for and protect their retirement? If so, then Nationwide Financial could be the place for you! At Nationwide®, “on your side” goes beyond just words. Our customers are at the center of everything we do and we’re looking for associates who are passionate about delivering extraordinary care.

  • Collaboration is the key word for success.
  • You will work closely with existing team members, our IT and business counterparts, and the Data and AI/ML/Robotics Product Owners to bring Pet’s data and AI strategy to life.
  • This is a somewhat technical role that treats data as one of Pet’s most vital assets.
  • You will integrate and operationalize our governance tools—Manta, Alation, Anomalo, BigID, and Semarchy—and align them to the Harmonized Layer and the Tailwind Flagship AI program to accelerate trustworthy AI and analytics delivery.
  • This is not a typical governance role: we aim to embed rich metadata into acquisition and lifecycle processes to automate discovery, power self-service insight into data quality and other data fitness signals, and create a vibrant, intuitive data experience for our consumers.
  • You don’t have to have a pet to be on the team—but if you do, we expect pictures. This is your opportunity to elevate data as a living enhancement to everyday life at Pet.

This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.
