We are looking for a Full Stack Data Engineer to work on a project in the media sector
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Data Engineer to join a project in the media sector, building greenfield data products for a major US media company. Our teammates are talented people that come from a variety of backgrounds. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture based on trust and innovation.
You will be part of a distributed team working on two greenfield product streams — the AI Solutions Pod and Rights360 — built on a modern, Snowflake-native stack. You’ll design and build scalable, high-impact systems, contributing to innovative solutions that combine data, automation, and intelligent technologies to solve real business problems and support efficient, insight-driven decision-making in fast-moving environments.
We are looking for someone who thinks like a full-stack, data-driven product builder, comfortable owning problems end-to-end and delivering solutions directly to users.
Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines on Snowflake using Snowpark and SQL
Write complex, production-grade SQL (dbt models, views, UDFs) to power business logic and product features
Build data-facing application layers using Streamlit (in Snowflake) or similar frameworks
Develop and iterate on greenfield product features across AI Pod and Rights360 platforms
Create user-facing applications on Snowflake, with potential extension into lightweight APIs (e.g. FastAPI)
Leverage Snowflake Cortex AI/ML services for forecasting, profitability modelling, and conversational/agentic features
Contribute to real-time inventory management and rights conflict detection (Rights360)
Build conversational interfaces enabling natural language data querying for operational teams
Collaborate closely with the shared tech lead across multiple workstreams
Take end-to-end ownership of solutions — from data modelling and logic to UI delivery
Ensure production-ready systems with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and clean code
Work across the full stack, from data pipelines to user-facing dashboards
Strong hands-on experience with Python
Strong expertise in SQL, with ability to write complex, production-grade queries
Experience working with Snowflake or similar platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
Experience in data modelling and building scalable data pipelines
Experience building data-facing applications (Streamlit, Dash, Flask, or similar)
Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions, from data layer to user interface
Comfortable working across the stack, from data engineering to user-facing applications
Practical, production-focused mindset with emphasis on clean, maintainable, and reliable code
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, greenfield environment
Experience with Snowflake-native tools (Cortex, Streamlit in Snowflake, Snowpark)
Experience with dbt
Experience building lightweight APIs (e.g. FastAPI)
Interest or hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM patterns (RAG, embeddings, LangChain, prompt engineering, agentic workflows)
Experience building conversational or AI-driven data applications
Frontend exposure (e.g. React)
Background in media, content, or rights management data domains
Experience with real-time or near-real-time data architectures
Thinks in SQL first and enjoys crafting logic that drives real business products
Excited about building user-facing tools, not just data pipelines
Curious about AI/LLM capabilities and how they enhance data products
Takes ownership and delivers complete, end-to-end solutions
Has a builder mindset — proactive, resourceful, and focused on delivering results
