Senior Data Delivery Lead - Asia Data Office

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Data Delivery Lead to manage the successful delivery of advanced data solutions, including AI enablement, Business Intelligence (BI), and data governance initiatives across the Asia region. This role combines technical leadership and delivery management, ensuring scalable, secure, and reusable data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data platforms, BI technologies, AI applications, and data governance frameworks, with solid technical ownership and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure successful execution.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Program & Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data analytics, BI, AI enablement, and data governance programs across multiple markets.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business goals.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data strategy and roadmap, and drive execution of initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making and innovation.

2. Technical Delivery Leadership & Ownership

  • Act as technical delivery lead, providing guidance on solution design, architecture, and implementation.

  • Take technical ownership of data delivery projects, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

  • Work closely with project teams, engineers, and architects to validate technical feasibility and resolve design or integration challenges.

  • Facilitate architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and compliance checks for all initiatives.

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across regions, foster collaboration and accountability.

  • Support capability building and knowledge sharing within the delivery team.

4. Data, BI & AI Strategy Execution

  • Translate business needs into actionable data, BI, and AI solutions using cloud platforms and advanced analytics tools.

  • Align initiatives with enterprise data strategy, AI roadmap, and digital transformation goals.

  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics, AI-powered insights, and data democratization across business units.

5. Delivery Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage delivery risks and issues across data and analytics projects.

  • Establish and maintain risk mitigation plans, escalation protocols, and contingency strategies.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of delivery disruptions.

6. Governance, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all solutions comply with data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with governance and risk teams to maintain data quality, lineage, and integrity.

  • Follow delivery frameworks, standards, and best practices (Agile, SDLC).

7. Performance Monitoring & Management

  • Define and track KPIs for data delivery, BI adoption, and AI-driven insights.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on delivery status, financials, and performance metrics.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance delivery efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data delivery, BI, analytics, or technology project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering data, BI, and AI projects across multiple geographies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and AI technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards, and SDLC practices.
  • Industry experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.
