Summary of the position
Be part of our journey! As a Senior Data Analyst, you will leverage your specialized expertise to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges in our DOB manufacturing environment. You will work independently while contributing to and aligning with the GO Digital 2.0 analytics platform strategy. Acting as a best-practices resource, you will lead cross-functional project teams to solve high-impact problems. A key focus will be on developing and implementing production-relevant, end-to-end data analytics solutions for our continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) production, aimed at identifying system performance variations and driving data-driven excellence across the organization.
Main tasks of the position
End-to-End Analysis & Monitoring: Independently perform complex analyses and manage effective process data monitoring to prevent incidents or quality deviations.
Predictive System Modeling: Apply analytical thinking and professional judgment to evaluate, select, and implement new methods for predicting system performance.
Strategic Problem Solving: Develop and recommend new approaches to solve complex product performance issues.
Technical Leadership & Digital Liaison: Coordinate task distribution and provide expert guidance to the team, acting as the primary liaison to GO Digital 2.0 to ensure all analytics solutions align with established platform standards and guidelines.
Stakeholder & Performance Management: Proactively identify sources of performance variation through experimentation and ensure past experiences are integrated into future data product developments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster and improve cooperation with relevant interfaces to resolve delivery failures and customer-visible product performance problems.
Decision Support: Support the Leadership Team by providing and analyzing technical reports related to departmental processes and ensuring the effective communication of performance knowledge.
Travel % required (if applicable): Up to 20% International Travel
Qualifications of the position
Education: A masters degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field is required.
5+ years of experience in the relevant production processes and analytics field
Deep understanding of IT/OT systems, digital solutions, analytics models, and business system landscapes within manufacturing, QC, planning, and its reporting frameworks.
Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Mesh Methodology and its Systems (e.g. Snowflake, BI Tools, Tableau)
Strong decision-making ability, strategic thinking, and capability to manage budgets, resources, and operational processes effectively.
Fluency in both German and English is beneficial, enabling effective communication with local teams and international stakeholders.
