About the Role
Mastercard Identity Check is the company's largest cardholder authentication solution, processing billions of 3DS authentications annually for issuers and merchants worldwide. As a Senior Data Analyst on the Identity Check product team, you will be the analytical backbone behind how we measure, optimize, and commercially position this product.
You will work at the intersection of product performance, commercial strategy, and regulatory compliance — translating transaction-level data into insights that directly shape product performance, pricing models, and the product roadmap.

What You'll Do
Strategic & Regulatory Analysis
• Support market sizing, go-to-market execution, performance monitoring and product optimization for existing and new capabilities (e.g., FIDO2 WebAuthn passkey-based authentication, Data Sharing flows / Risk Based Authentication).
• Analyze the impact of regulatory changes (e.g. PSD2, PSD3/PSR enforcement, exemption usage rates) on product performance, transaction volumes and product adoption.
Pricing & Commercial Analytics
• Support the development and refinement of Authentication and Behavioral pricing models and develop dashboards/insights
• Analyze transaction volume trends, attach rates, and revenue per transaction across segments and geographies to identify pricing and revenue trends
• Model the commercial impact of product and fee structure changes on Mastercard revenue.
Product Performance Analytics
• Own the end-to-end measurement framework for Identity Check, covering authentication success rates, challenge success rates, frictionless vs. challenge flows, fallback and error rates, exemption usage, fraud performance etc.
• Build and maintain pricing and product performance dashboards and reporting that give product managers, market / account teams, and leadership a clear view of product performance and customer enablement/opportunities
• Identify and quantify performance bottlenecks and work with product, customer success, project management and account teams to resolve them.
