As part of the broader Services Analytics team, the Data Governance Analyst is responsible for delivering data management and data governance solutions,
while also performing data analysis activities to validate, interpret, and support the effective use of data in business intelligence and analytics for Cushman and Wakefield clients

About the Role

  • Support the build, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms and pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Unity Catalog and data lakehouse.

  • Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data into the data lakehouse.

  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, including metadata management, business glossary, data lineage, and documentation.

  • Support data quality, profiling, validation, and root cause analysis to ensure reliable and governed data outputs.

  • Translate business intelligence and analytics requirements into platform-level data requirements and transformation logic.

  • Partner with data engineering, BI, and governance teams to enable accurate and timely analytics and dashboards.

  • Support analytics enablement through lightweight dashboards and ad hoc data preparation when required.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data platforms, processes, and operational standards.

About You

  • Experience in data engineering, data governance, or analytics enablement roles.

  • Hands-on exposure to Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Unity Catalog and modern data lakehouse architectures.

  • Understanding of data governance concepts including metadata, data quality, lineage, and critical data elements.

  • Ability to work with large structured and semi-structured datasets and perform data profiling and validation.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to high data quality standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
