Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst uses statistical methods, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop, maintain, and deploy tools, including dashboards, infographics, reports, and presentations, to inform and support decision-making by key stakeholders. This role, mines, cleans, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using key performance indicators, business results, industry sources, competitors and member information. This individual is required to have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs and transform those requirements into accurate, easy-to-understand outputs. This position requires the team member to present data-driven insights to all levels of the organization in a clear, accurate, and concise manner. This individual must develop and maintain a good understanding of our corporate model, objectives, and challenges by collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

Connect, consolidate, and clean data from multiple sources into Power BI.
Design and maintain robust data models that support dynamic reporting and analytics.
Conduct in-depth analysis on given subject matter and translate insights into a story that meets the stakeholders’ requirements.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards, ensuring visualizations are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with stakeholders’ needs.
Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization to understand, translate, and document business requirements.
Present data informed strategic recommendations based on stakeholders’ needs.
Identify and execute streamlining data workflows and automate reporting processes.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and data governance across all owned reporting platforms.
Document data sources, logic, and dashboard usage guidelines.
Develop and maintain operational dashboards and or reporting within various systems.
Analyze and clearly communicate data.
Research the root cause of data anomalies and troubleshoot any issues.
Optimize reports and dashboards for speed, scalability and usability.
Mentor, train, and provide guidance to junior-level analysts.
Spearhead, collaborate, and execute requirements based on project needs.
Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)
Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions and general operating policies and procedures.
Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation.
Knowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
Knowledge in AI concepts and applications, with the intent to leverage AI towards driving innovation.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, and/or SSRS.
Knowledge of automating data reporting and visualization dashboards.
Skilled in advanced data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Power BI, or Python.
Skilled in data visualization and storytelling through dashboards and presentations.
Skilled in synthesizing complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding machines.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
Ability to derive meaningful insights from multiple data sources, simplify complex concepts to easy-to-understand storytelling presentations, and deliver findings to senior-level leadership.
Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.
Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously.
Ability to be adaptable of new technologies, tools, and methodologies, and having a willingness to learn and stay updated.

Courses of action are determined by established procedures and/or the VP of Finance Optimization.
The team member’s work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles, preferably within financial services, banking, or credit union environments.
Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and database management systems.
Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or DOMO is preferred.
Strong knowledge of statistical concepts, experimentation, and financial modeling.
Experience in scripting languages and statistical packages (e.g., Python, SAS, R) is advantageous.
Certifications Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate
