The Data Analyst is responsible for the hands-on delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality management information to support operational and management decision-making across Dyson. The role is focused on producing, maintaining, and improving Excel-based management information, applying critical thinking to data and outputs, and working with stakeholders to ensure reporting is relevant, reliable, and clearly understood.
Excel-based Management Information & Reporting
Produce regular and ad-hoc Excel-based management information to support operational and management needs.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate these into clear, structured Excel-based MI outputs.
Prepare and maintain Excel-based MI reports in line with agreed definitions, standards, and timelines.
Critically review MI outputs to identify trends, risks, gaps, and potential data quality issues.
Present insights clearly within reports to support decision-making and effective discussions.
Excel-based Reporting & Automation
Develop and maintain Excel-based MI solutions using advanced Excel functionality.
Apply automation within Excel to data preparation, consolidation, and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
Apply structured Excel design principles and maintain documentation to ensure reporting solutions are robust and reusable.
Data Quality & Controls
Apply data validation, reconciliation, and sense-checking to ensure accuracy and consistency of MI outputs.
Maintain consistent KPI and metric definitions across Excel-based reporting.
Identify, investigate, and escalate data quality issues, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
Essential
Strong ability to interpret data, understand context, and critically review Excel-based reports.
Experience producing Excel-based management information and performance reporting.
Advanced Excel capability, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
Experience working with structured datasets and multiple data sources.
Good stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain MI clearly and confidently.
Desirable
Exposure to finance or operational data.
Experience supporting automated Excel-based reporting solutions.
Exposure to Power BI, including report consumption and basic dashboard development.
Awareness of broader BI and reporting tools.
Competitive starting salary: from PLN 126,000 annually (for a full-time position), with potential for a higher offer based on skills and experience
