About the Team

The Scoring and Reporting (SR) team within College Board Latin America (CB-LATAM) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of scoring results and reporting operations for CB-LATAM assessments across Puerto Rico and Latin America—including programs such as the PAA suite and related administrations. SR ensures scoring workflows are reliable, accurate, secure, and delivered on time, supporting both pencil-and-paper and digital administrations. As part of this work, SR drives continuous improvement in reporting processes, data integration, and workflow automation—partnering across internal teams and collaborating with external stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure results are delivered with precision, efficiency, and strong service.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Data Analyst on the Scoring & Reporting team, internally known as, Associate Director, Scoring and Reporting, you will own day-to-day scoring and reporting operations while helping advance modernization efforts through improved visibility, analytics, and strengthened quality controls. You will work hands-on with operational systems and data to coordinate key milestones, validate outputs, investigate anomalies, and ensure accurate, timely deliverables. In this role, you will support both internal stakeholders and external clients, helping facilitate secure score delivery, rapid issue resolution, and consistent service that protects the customer experience. In parallel, you will contribute to CB-LATAM’s digital transformation by turning operational pain points into practical enhancements, standardizing workflows, strengthening monitoring and checks, and implementing repeatable automations that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and accelerate turnaround times as the organization transitions toward next-generation scoring and reporting capabilities.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

1) Operational Ownership: Scoring & Reporting Delivery (35%)

  • Drive end-to-end scoring and reporting delivery for Puerto Rico and Latin America programs—producing scoring outputs and approved reports for pencil-and-paper and digital administrations with a consistent focus on accuracy, security, and on-time delivery.

  • Own the scoring/reporting calendar and integrated delivery plan, orchestrating milestones, dependencies, critical path, and readiness checkpoints across cross-functional partners.

  • Lead operational risk management and issue escalation—monitor workflow health, anticipate impacts, drive mitigation plans, and communicate clear options and recommendations.

  • Own paper-and-pencil processing readiness and operational controls, including Scantron scanning workflows, reading program maintenance, end-to-end reconciliation of counts/outputs, and secure handling/documentation to ensure confidentiality, repeatability, and audit readiness.

2) Digital Scoring Execution & Release Quality (25%)

  • Own the integrity of digital scoring outputs by partnering with Technology and Research & Psychometrics to diagnose issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Lead release readiness for score reporting deliverables—performing reconciliation, completeness checks, and accuracy verification so outputs meet internal standards prior to distribution.

  • Establish and run repeatable quality checks across digital workflows to improve defect detection, reduce rework, and strengthen confidence in results.

3) Stakeholder Delivery & Service Management (20%)

  • Serve as a primary operational liaison for external educational stakeholders (e.g., admissions/results-processing offices) specifically regarding score and report delivery, ensuring clear communications, secure delivery, and timely issue resolution.

  • Enable internal stakeholders with trusted data deliverables—intake requests, define requirements, coordinate fulfillment, and document outcomes to ensure consistent, reusable reporting.

  • Strengthen operational governance and transparency by producing the evidence trail and documentation needed for audits, billing substantiation, and stakeholder confidence in delivery outcomes.

4) Strategic Improvement: Streamlining, Automation, and Quality Controls (20%)

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational pain points, quantifying impact (time, risk, rework, customer experience), and developing simple business cases to prioritize low-to-moderate effort enhancements.

  • Lead workflow standardization and transition readiness in partnership with cross-functional teams—mapping processes, clarifying roles/hand-offs, and hardening procedures to improve onboarding, troubleshooting, and future system changes.

  • Deliver targeted automation and tooling enhancements (low-code automations, repeatable checks, lightweight QA tooling, and operational dashboards) that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and strengthen service performance.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (data analytics, statistics, information systems, industrial engineering, operations, or similar), or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in scoring/reporting operations, data operations, analytics, assessment operations, or a similarly deadline-driven environment with production controls and quality checkpoints.

  • Advanced SQL proficiency (required) with demonstrated experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Databricks) to reconcile datasets, investigate anomalies, and support production deliverables.

  • Proven ability to work with data exposed through REST or GraphQL application programming interfaces.

  • Experience developing operational dashboards and reporting views to enhance transparency and decision-making using tools such as Tableau, Zoho Analytics, PowerBI, and similar platforms.

  • Experience implementing workflow automation and repeatable checks (low-code tools and/or scripting such as Python or R).

  • Proven ability to own complex operational cycles end-to-end (planning, coordination, execution, quality checks, issue resolution, documentation).

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience communicating with external clients and cross-functional internal teams.

  • The ability to travel 1-2 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business.
