A Senior Data Analyst is a highly skilled and experienced analyst, collects, organises and studies data to provide business insight. A senior analyst looks to delegate, automate or upskill others in analysis where possible and appropriate, provide leadership within their team and proactively use analysis to improve services. May be working on projects to deliver data plan and meet appropriate deliverables.

Job Description:

Manage or mentoring of other members of the team, supporting their development in role
Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
Set up and maintain automated data processes
Develop and support complex reporting processes and visualisations
Carry out increasingly complex analysis, working with other teams where necessary
Understand the difference between user needs and desires of the user.
Work with and challenge senior stakeholders
Produce and track key performance indicators
Monitor, analyse and audit data identifying data quality and cleansing requirements
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand data content
Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
Work with other Agile delivery disciplines on projects
Plan and proactively engage with stakeholders at the appropriate stage of the project.
Actively contribute to the data analytics community within your business area or organisation, while forging links with other analytical disciplines
Demonstrate a good knowledge of security and data privacy
