Design of systems, storage, backup, infra monitoring, and virtualisation infrastructure for small to large-scale security-centric IT Infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to define the best design and security methodology for infrastructure systems in physical and virtualised environments.
Collaborate with bid management, sales team, and vendor partners to provide the best solution for customer requirements and pain points.
Prepare the solution for the customer, which will minimally include the bill of materials (BOM), scope of work (SOW), resource effort sizing, proposal, and solution presentation.
Conduct/Setup POC and its success criteria if required to showcase the solution’s feasibility.
Upon award of an opportunity and project, ensure timely and proper handover of the project collaterals to the project and implementation team.
Collaborate with vendors and ensure partnership level and relationship are met by attending training, acquiring vendor certifications, and participating in vendor-hosted events.
Be updated with the latest trends related to Cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions.
Accurately track/follow up on each assigned/handled project opportunity and produce a timely report of the status.
Requirements:
Minimum four (4) years experience as an IT Infra Systems Presales
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/IT/Information security from a recognised institution
Proven experience in enterprise system technology such as Servers, OS, Storage, Virtualisation, Backup and Recovery, Patch Management, Infra Monitoring, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
Work experience in a System Integrator (SI) is preferred.
The right candidate must be an excellent team player, have a positive work attitude, and can prioritise tasks effectively, even under pressure.
A keen interest in Cybersecurity and willingness to learn new skills to address skill gaps if needed.
