About the team

Our Cyber Culture & Awareness team are responsible for driving positive cybersecurity behaviours across the Reserve Bank of Australia. The role will be reporting to the Manager of Cyber Culture & Awareness within the Information Technology Department.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive and small team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.


About the role

 

In your role as Senior Cyber Culture & Awareness Analyst, you will lead the organisation’s phishing simulation program to strengthen our people’s ability to protect Australia’s critical infrastructure. You’ll ensure role-based cybersecurity learning remains current, form metrics and measure human cyber risk, and deliver insights to shape targeted interventions. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you’ll also support internal communications and engagement activities alongside your team.

 

About you

 

You will have a proactive approach to identifying learning needs and delivering engaging content that enhances cyber culture. You will have a curious and outcome-oriented mindset to measure and analyse impact and a desire for ways to do things better. You thrive both independently and collaboratively as part of a team and you will be able to contribute creative and innovative ideas to help manage human cyber risk.

  • Experience in internal communications, learning, organisational change management or related field.
  • A desire to lead and manage the phishing simulation program for the RBA, including managing and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Capabilities to develop metrics to measure human cyber risk across the RBA and use insights gathered from our programs to develop targeted behavioural interventions.
  • The ability to update and maintain digital learning modules accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex cybersecurity concepts for diverse audiences.
  • An outcome-oriented mindset to measure and analyse impact and make improvements.
  • The drive to stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices, and incorporate this knowledge into cyber communications.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning. Previous experience in cybersecurity or a related domain is highly preferred.
