The ASP Program is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity compliance, asset management, and secure operations across classified and sensitive environments. This position is 100% onsite at our facility in Plano, Texas.

The Cybersecurity Analyst will support cybersecurity, information assurance, and IT asset management functions across the ASP Program. This role combines cybersecurity compliance responsibilities—including RMF, JSIG, DAAPM, and NISPOM requirements—with asset and configuration management responsibilities to ensure operational integrity across hardware, software, and IT systems.

What You Will Do

  • Support adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards including RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM Chapter 8, ICD 503, and NIST guidance.
  • Manage classified and unclassified documentation, metrics, data entry, and compliance tracking.
  • Support configuration and lifecycle management for hardware/software in classified environments.
  • Contribute to system audits, vulnerability remediation, and continuous monitoring.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and asset accountability.
  • Assist with user support, account creation workflows, system change requests, records management, and security education and awareness training.
  • Assist with documenting baseline configurations for information systems.
  • Manage hardware and software inventories throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Conduct hardware physical inventory audits and maintain accurate tracking systems.
  • Perform security analysis to determine security impacts to information system changes
  • Collaborate with internal teams on hardware and software inventories associated with the information system.
  • Drive automation to enhance metric development and reporting.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations and auditing.
  • Experience with asset management and hardware/software lifecycle tracking.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+).
  • Experience in classified DoD or SAP/SAR environments.
  • Familiarity with NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, STIGs, ICD 503, and NIST frameworks.
  • Experience with asset tracking tools, CMDB systems, and configuration management.
  • Ability to mentor junior personnel and collaborate across functions.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
