Responsibilities
Serving as the enterprise functional owner and subject matter expert for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), ensuring the platform meets global trade compliance and operational needs.
Leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of new GTM functionality, enhancements, and integrations.
Building and implementing automated solutions to streamline import/export compliance processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy.
Developing and enhancing systemic controls that ensure compliant classification, screening, documentation, licensing, and transaction processing.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to document requirements, design system processes, and establish global standards for GTM usage.
Collaborating with IT on system architecture, integrations, upgrades, data governance, and incident management.
Owning GTM roadmap development, including long-term strategy, capability expansion, and prioritization of improvement initiatives.
Creating and maintain SOPs, system process documentation, and user guides related to Oracle GTM.
Monitoring emerging trade regulations and translating requirements into system-driven compliance capabilities.
Leading GTM-related training across global stakeholders and driving user adoption.
Supporting internal/external audits and ensuring that Oracle GTM data and controls meet regulatory expectations.
Partnering with customs brokers, logistics providers, and technology vendors to optimize data flows and transactional compliance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, International Business, Engineering, or related field.
Strong experience in global trade compliance or trade systems implementation,
Demonstrated success implementing automated trade compliance solutions and systemic controls.
Strong understanding of global import/export regulations, customs processes, and compliance requirements.
Experience managing direct reports or leading cross-functional project teams.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global matrix organization.
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience with system implementation, large-scale process transformation, or digital modernization projects.
Proven experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Oracle GTM modules (e.g., Trade Compliance, Logistics, Restricted Party Screening, Export/Import Management, Classification).
Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements, valuation, licensing, restricted party screening, and product classification.
Experience integrating Oracle GTM with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and logistics platforms.
Strong project management capabilities and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Professional certifications (e.g., CUSECO, LCB, EXIM) are a plus.
Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, industrial, electronics).
