JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Country Manager Poland is responsible for leading and overseeing the Polish markets, ensuring full profit and loss accountability and effective management of the Independent Aftermarket. The role drives financial performance, defines and executes regional strategies, and leads key business development initiatives. The Senior Country Manager provides strong leadership to cross functional teams, cultivates talent, and fosters a high performance culture that supports innovation and sustainable growth. This position plays a critical role in shaping the long term direction and success of the EMEA Aftermarket segment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Roles & Responsibilities

Business Strategy

  • In collaboration with the Regional Director, monitor and develop the country’s

  • undefined

  • Be responsible for achieving revenue, EV/margin, and overdue targets

  • Have a strong relationship with key customers in the sector by building and strengthening business relationships with existing clients (intimacy)

  • Implement a strong business strategy for the country

  • Implement and develop brand positioning, services, and solutions in the market        

  • Lead, manage, coach and develop the country team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

  • Analyze the business environment (markets, competition) identify and propose business opportunities.

  • Stimulate demand and foster customer loyalty

  • Follow and implement the commercial strategy to develop our key performance indicators

  • Prospects: develop a prospecting and acquisition strategy to strengthen our market position.

  • Be an expert in your market and act as first point of contact for all customers: know who our clients are, what our market share is with our distributors and represent PHINIA-Delphi in front of the customer

  • Understand the market and the competitive environment. Be the eyes and voice of PHINIA-Delphi in the market and provide regular updates on all relevant information.

KPI’s

  • Be responsible for achieving the Country objectives: revenue, overdues, EV/margin.

  • Meet your SMART objectives, validated with your Regional Director, to ensure goal achievement

  • Provide all necessary information for the proper management of a client account, including revenue tracking and project progress updates

  • Execute the revenue and monthly business forecast, planning and budget

  • Perform all reporting required activities

  • Act as Country Representative for your scope of responsibilities

  • Work with, liaise and report to the EMEA Central Functions as required

  • Deliver with compliance to Internal Control, accounting/financial legal requirements and perform successfully internal and external audits.

Customer portfolio Development

  • Develop the business volume with our existing clients (Distributors)

    Implement an effective prospecting strategy to grow our market share

  • Follow the company’s policy and guidelines to streamline information exchange and facilitate business acquisition

  • Represent PHINIA-Delphi at client events, trade shows, or regional promotions

  • Develop the entire DELPHI product portfolio

  • Monitor customer satisfaction through appropriate Quality KPIs, track progress and corrective actions if required

  • Work with regional Marcomms and marketing team to develop Brand Awareness and support Customer events

     

Demand Planning

  • Develop the entire DELPHI product portfolio

 Continuous improvement

  • Understanding and knowledge of PHINIA (reporting) tools

  • Be the market and environmental specialist

Who are we looking for?

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar position, working at a strategic level

  • Extensive experience at a senior level in the aftermarket in sales and marketing

  • In-depth knowledge of Aftermarket customers, competitors, distribution channels and price positioning 

  • Experience in planning and budget management with demonstrated track record of strong financial performance and profitable growth

  • Natural (Sales) leader, customer-oriented with strong business acumen

  • Strong negotiation skills with proven success records

  • Entrepreneurial mind set with good market understanding and ability to develop new business concepts, manage business challenges and translate market opportunities into solid business opportunities

  • Ability to open doors at top management levels and close long term profitable commercial partnership agreements

  • Ability to develop and deliver business cases in line with strategic commercial objectives

  • Strategic Thinker with a “can do” attitude and ability to work under pressure and respond quickly and positively to opportunities

  • Ability to articulate clear vision into action plans

  • Ability to establish a high-performance ethic and culture that is committed to growth, creativity, innovation, change and consistent collective achievement of clear and challenging objectives.

  • Proven success in enhancing the overall brand and achieving top-line growth while driving bottom line profitability

  • Exceptional judgement – knowing when to escalate and when to deal with an issue directly

  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate the team and ability to work constructively and positively with peers and managers across all levels

  • Curious, enquiring mind, understanding and appreciation of the commercial and strategic mix and interdependencies, able to analyze and produce reports and recommendations

  • Providing service, operational reviews with action plans require attention to deadlines and results focus.

  • Builds trust with key stakeholders and understand the customer perspective

 

Education/Experience – Preferred

  • Strong experience in the automotive industry

  • Bachelor's Degree (commercial/technical preferred)
