We are looking for an experienced Senior Counsel, Quality & Regulatory Matters, BCA in Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate will provide legal support to the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Engineering divisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Engineering divisions.

  • Provide risk-based legal assessment concerning compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Advise on communications with, and reporting to, regulators and government agencies.

  • Counsel executive leadership on dispute resolution strategies, compliance, ethics and personnel matters, and on the strategic objectives related to the Quality and Safety functions.

  • Manage outside counsel, including establishing outside counsel budgets.

  • Prepare and conduct training on compliance and regulatory matters.

  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
 

Requires Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and four years of post J.D. professional legal experience in any occupation in which the experience was gained, as well as four years of experience with each of the below: working at a nationally recognized top-tier American law firm or at a publicly traded company in an executive in-house capacity; negotiating and drafting agreements; providing legal counsel and strategies to business executives; legal research and writing.

Must be licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.

Summary pay $250,000 - $300,000 per year.
