Senior Coordinator, Accounts Receivable

CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy, a mail service pharmacy in the Monroeville area has an opportunity for a full-time Accounts Receivable Senior Coordinator to handle insurance follow up and PBM Client questions and issues. The Accounts Receivable Senior Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate account payment for outstanding balances while demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. Additional responsibilities will include managing the SalesForce.com Specialty Pharmacy Reimbursement queue for incoming case requests, assisting with resolution as needed and ensuring timely response.

In this role you will work in a customer service oriented, fast paced and team focused environment to help resolve patient account balances and PBM Client inquiries. We will support you by offering all the tools and resources you need to be successful in a collaborative team environment.

As an Accounts Receivable Senior Coordinator, you will:

  • Follow-up with both government and non-government insurance companies on open invoices associated with the dispensing of prescription medication via telephone, internet, and in writing
  • Maintain supporting chronological notes that detail action taken to resolve outstanding account balances
  • Maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems, including all billing/collection reports, queues, or diversions while remaining in accordance with payer and company policy guidelines
  • Contact insurance companies, copay assistance organizations, and partnering with account managers as needed in order to ensure accurate claims processing
  • Manage the Pharmacy benefit SalesForce.com Specialty Pharmacy Reimbursement queue ensuring timely review, resolution, and response
  • Resolve escalated PBM Client questions and / or issues independently
  • Identify trends within SalesForce.com case requests and escalate to management as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience performing healthcare reimbursement / collections or medical insurance billing
  • 1 or more years of experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment
  • Must be able to commute into the Monroeville office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance billing or collections experience.
  • Customer service in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system.
  • Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to utilize analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate through multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on importance while displaying strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
