The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
The Senior Controller, Tender and Projects will lead large projects in Asia both tender and project controlling process in strong collaboration with the HBU Sales & Tendering Team, HBU Operation Management and HBL Function leads. As a Senior Controller, Tender and Project, you are responsible to ensure that all tender and project controlling processes and risks have been identified, assessed, responded and mitigated. Do regularly manage resources to support the large project requirement.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will act as business partner to the Large Projects Managers and Hub Controller and Hub Operations Manager, alignment with HBU M&S team to identify opportunities and plan resources accordingly and ensure that tender calculation is done correctly.
You will participate or provide input to negotiations on Contractual terms and conditions (Clients, consortium, subcontractors, suppliers), input in Risk Review process, provide guidance and leadership to Tender & Project Controllers allocated to all Large Projects, promote commercial awareness and ensure proper involvement in Tendering, validating, contractual set up, T&C’s, tax impacts and FCM.
You will ensure coordination, alignment and communication with other functions: HUB Tender and Controlling Manager and HBU Tendering Manager, ensure timely and experienced resources are allocated to Large Projects and their development plans are in place, in Charge of FCA programs for Large Projects Controllers.
You will identify Large Projects opportunity/risk and ensure that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented, drive and ensure that Large Projects reviews are timely prepared, proper revenues and cash planning by project and root causes analysis on deviations.
You will improve the predictability and operational performance, monitoring progress achieved, providing analysis and support, identify best practices and lessons learned to be implemented, ensure Promis quality and approvals on time.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold a master’s degree in relevant field.
You have multiple years of working experience within one of the following functions: Risk Management / Tender Controlling / Project Controlling / Controlling.
You are experienced in project business in an international company.
You are skilled in communicating and you have experience working with a global and diverse team from a leadership point of view.
You have high level of organizational skills with attention to details and strong process orientation.
You have experience in dealing with customers/stakeholders as well as you are fluent in English (oral and written), other languages are considered meriting.
