Senior Contracts Specialist
How Will You Make an Impact
The Senior Contracts Specialist plays a critical role in advancing Global Procurement’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) capabilities. This position is responsible for leading the execution and continuous improvement of CLM processes, system configuration, and governance standards across the organization.
The role operates as a senior individual contributor with broad cross-functional influence, partnering closely with Legal, Procurement, IT, and Data Solutions to ensure contract processes are standardized, scalable, and aligned with enterprise governance expectations. This individual will own high-impact initiatives supporting contract visibility, compliance, lifecycle controls, and spend enablement.
What Will You Do?
Lead implementation and continuous improvement of Contract Lifecycle Management processes, ensuring alignment with Procurement governance and Legal requirements.
Translate business and compliance requirements into structured CLM workflows, metadata standards, and system configurations.
Drive alignment between contract governance standards and operational execution across Direct and Indirect contracting processes.
Identify process gaps and implement sustainable controls to improve contract discipline, data integrity, and lifecycle management.
Lead initiatives to improve supplier normalization and contract attribute accuracy.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Procurement, Data Analytics) to align contract management solutions with business needs.
Support initiatives to improve contract execution efficiency and lifecycle oversight, including digital agreement execution and reporting enablement.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and recommending enhancements.
Partner with analytics teams to define business requirements and validate CLM dashboards and operational metrics.
Participate in efforts related to advanced analytics or emerging technologies that support contract management and recommend scalable solutions.
Act as a senior point of contact for Legal, category leaders, and Procurement stakeholders regarding CLM execution and improvement.
Influence adoption of standardized processes and drive compliance with established governance models.
Provide subject matter expertise in contract lifecycle management best practices.
Support and enhance ongoing CLM operational processes, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, sourcing, operations, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience executing cross-functional initiatives involving business, legal, and technical stakeholders, with measurable impact.
Experience with contract management systems, workflow tools, or enterprise systems preferred.
B2+ English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Solid understanding of contract lifecycle processes and contract data management concepts.
Ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Strong decision-making capability and ability to apply business judgment in complex environments.
Strong execution and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable process improvements.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
