Job Description

We are looking for a Contract Management professional to join our team and play a strategic role in supporting the business through the negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial agreements. This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, and legal counsel to identify and mitigate contractual risks, advise on contractual rights and obligations, and continuously improve contracting processes. The role offers exposure to a global environment, participation in impactful projects, and the opportunity to directly influence customer experience and business outcomes, with a hybrid work model based in São Paulo.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will leading the negotiating and drafting of sales agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master purchase agreements, and master services agreements.
  • Review and seek out contractual risks and guiding others within the organization on ways to mitigate those risks.
  • Working with people from business units, legal counsel, and other functions to obtain approval for non-standard contractual positions.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to the company on contractual rights and remedies.
  • Develop and carry out training plans on company contracting processes.
  • Network globally with key contacts outside one's own area of expertise.
  • Grow personally and professionally through continuous learning and development of skills.
  • Make an impact on departmental process improvements and project activities.
  • Participate in global calls and meetings via phone, Teams, or occasionally travel in-person.
  • Give customers valuable experience.

The Essentials – You Will Have

  • 5 to 8 years of experience negotiating terms and conditions of sales or purchase contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in law or business or related field.
  • Hybrid work-from-home and at a Rockwell Automation facility in São Paulo/Brazil.
  • Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Occasional business travel within the designated region(s).
  • Excellent Portuguese and English speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

  • Spanish speaking, comprehension and writing skills
  • Post-graduate law degree.
  • Experience with negotiating contracts for Engineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software, Industrial Automation, and/or Technology.
  • Confidence with speaking in group settings and initiative to drive negotiations to a close.
  • Strategic business focus as well as a strong code of ethics.
