In this role, you will be a cornerstone of the project leadership team, overseeing the end-to-end contractual lifecycle for the most ambitious Giga projects. You will be responsible for safeguarding the project’s commercial interests, managing high-value prime contracts, and ensuring rigorous compliance with international standards and local Saudi regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of multi-billion dollar developments with precision and legal acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration: Lead the administration of prime contracts and complex subcontracts, ensuring all parties adhere strictly to terms, conditions, and milestones.

  • Claims & Disputes: Proactively identify potential risks and manage the resolution of claims and disputes. Develop robust defense or merit positions to protect the project's budget and timeline.

  • Change Management: Direct the variation/change order process, overseeing the negotiation and documentation of scope changes to prevent "scope creep" and ensure fair valuation.

  • Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice to the Project Director and stakeholders on contractual obligations, risk mitigation strategies, and procurement routes (e.g., FIDIC, bespoke Giga-project forms).

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of contract administrators and specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and high-integrity reporting.

  • Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for legal, procurement, and finance departments to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in contract management, with a significant portion dedicated to massive scale (Mega/Giga) infrastructure or construction projects.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certifications: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or MCIArb is highly preferred.

  • Regional Expertise: Direct experience working on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia is essential, including a deep understanding of the Saudi Government Procurement Law.

  • Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts and complex project delivery methods (Design-Build, EPC, etc.).

  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to present complex contractual issues clearly to C-suite executives.

Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
