Major Duties:
Qualifications: RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Minimum qualifications: 1. Work experience managing complex, multi-million dollar procurements requiring source selection procedures. 2. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of procurement regulations, contract laws, and acquisition planning. 3. Demonstrated experience in applying government and commercial procurement practices, contract policies and procedures, and negotiation techniques. 4. Proven leadership and customer service abilities, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 5. Demonstrated ability to obtain Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) II/III in contracting or other applicable professional certification. 6.Highly skilled in written and verbal communications; especially presentation skills. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Standard NAF Automated Contracting System (SNACS) and other related software as required. Highly qualifications: 1. Experience preparing scopes of work for minor construction and/or major construction project. 2. Experience as a Contract Specialist managing construction projects. 3. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts for construction projects effectively. 4. Knowledge of IMCOM organization, mission, policies, governing project development, design, and execution. 5. Knowledge of set schedules and milestones. 6. Minimum of 5 years work experience directly relating to contracting for requirements over the simplified acquisition threshold (over $250) utilizing formal source selection procedures. 7. A bachelor's or a Master's degree and CPCM, DAWIA II/III in contracting or other applicable professional certification. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education.
