Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial, and hands-on consulting leader focused on opportunities in the Mining, Minerals, and Cement industries to join us!
Based in Australia, you will drive profitable growth, using sound business building skills and strong commercial focus. You will collaborate with the team to deliver integrated solutions to help our clients on their Autonomous Operations journey such as:
Advanced Analytics and AI: Apply technologies including machine learning to harvest insights from data to make better innovation, design, development and operating decisions as well as closed loop optimisation to maturity in maintenance and operational autonomy.
Smart Connected Operations: Use digital technologies underpinning AI like IoT/IIoT across manufacturing, operations, supply chain and service. Connecting these functions together forms a connected enterprise which unites and integrates information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT), resulting in a digital thread of information that spans the entire value chain.
Extended Reality (AR/MR/VR): Leverage tools to overlay additional digital information into business processes to ensure more efficient learning and task execution.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales
- Work in collaboration with Rockwell account managers and sales teams to target accounts, identify and qualify sales opportunities, and to establish/enhance long-term relationships with potential clients. Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed annual operation plans (AOP) goals for Orders & Revenue for the region.
- Lead commercial input on all major proposals and win strategies / bidding processes (including pricing strategies, risk identification / mitigation)
- Create compelling propositions, often in competitive situations, for the client to engage Kalypso. Introduce the global capabilities and SMEs of Rockwell and Kalypso to progress sales opportunities.
- Develop professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives and expand your professional network in client organisations.
- Practice Development
- Develop and deliver Digital Transformation consulting services.
- Develop business cases for our clients' technology and business transformations.
- Lead assessments, develop transformation strategies and provide clients with multi-year journey roadmaps.
- Design new operating models for our clients with a broad understanding of required capabilities, processes, roles / responsibilities and organisation structures.
- Author articles and deliver presentations to external audiences to grow your personal eminence and the Rockwell and Kalypso brands within the market
- Client Delivery
- Synthesizing your clients' most pressing challenges with Kalypso's vast portfolio of offerings, you will optimize the value of the services offered and delivered to clients. Using your experience, subject matter expertise and credibility, you will help to bring the strategy to realisation.
- Oversee and manage delivery of services to meet client requirements on time and within budget.
- Maintain active delivery responsibilities
- Manage delivery risk and quality.
- Achieve personal billable utilisation of 30-40% per year
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Prior experience and positive track record in a senior-level role with a consulting or professional services organisation providing digital solutions
- Track record in selling and delivering digital consulting / professional services
- Experience leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable, commercial IoT/IIoT and analytics solutions in a client-facing setting
- Overall 10+ years of work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
- Travel up to 50-60% - mostly within South Pacific but also including other parts of Asia Pacific and occasionally the US, Europe and LATAM.
