Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition – 12 Month Maximum Term Contract

We’re excited to be on the lookout for an experienced Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition in our Sydney office to join us on a 12 month max term contract.  You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with core responsibilities in connecting top talent with some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects across Australia.

What will you be doing?

Own the end-to-end recruitment workflow across diverse functions (Advisory & Design Engineering) whilst building strong cross functional partnerships with the broader business and ensuring exceptional candidate experiences across all touch points. Seek out and leverage data led insights to inform and shape your hiring plans and hiring teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage high-calibre candidates using innovative sourcing methods
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to anticipate talent needs and shape recruitment hiring plans.
  • Champion the use of technology, data, automation and AI led search platforms
  • Provide regular recruitment updates to leadership teams, sharing progress, insights, challenges, and recommendations that support workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with candidates and stakeholders to develop a strong talent pipeline.
  • Provide actionable market insights and talent intelligence that influence hiring decisions.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
  • Leverage recruitment technologies to optimise candidate tracking and improve workflow efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience within recruitment (agency or internal)
  • Curiosity and a willingness to lean into AI in recruitment and the evolving transformations these new ways of working bring.  
  • Proven success managing mid to senior level roles, with ideally but not essentially in engineering and advisory recruitment within large scale infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and consult across all business levels.
  • Expertise with recruitment technologies and ATS platforms (Workday experience preferred) to streamline hiring processes and manage correct workflows.
  • Sharp commercial awareness combined with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Genuine passion for creating outstanding candidate and client experiences that build lasting trust.
  • Deep commitment to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout recruitment.
  • Sydney Based or willing to relocate to Sydney
