A unique and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Consultant to join the pre-eminent Risk Advisory practice at one of Australia's top leading independent law firms. As a fully integrated practice within the firm, our Risk Advisory team collaborates seamlessly with our Legal and Data Intelligence practice groups, to deliver a full suite of risk advisory consulting services to a range of global and domestic public and private sector clients.
With a strong pipeline of client mandates, this thriving practice is now looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing team in Sydney.
Working alongside industry leading practitioners Doug Nixon, Michelle Dawson, Nigel Williams and Andrew Bangura, you will play a hands-on role advising on a range of risk management, regulatory and compliance matters for a range of tier-1 clients, with a focus on the financial services sector, including banking, superannuation and insurance. You will work closely with senior practitioners and to provide strategic advice and help clients navigate complex regulatory environments, manage risks effectively, and achieve their business objectives. You will also support on advice in relation to development of risk management frameworks, regulatory enforcements and investigations, and governance reviews.

You will collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team of industry-leading professionals across the Firm to deliver exceptional, innovative, practical, and commercially focused solutions to our clients.
About You
3+ years’ client advisory experience (such as consulting or law) gained within a top-tier professional services firm.
Experience advising a range of clients, particularly in the financial services and banking sector, on matters in relating to risk management, enforcements and investigations and regulatory compliance.
Well-developed drafting skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, commercial solutions.
An agile mindset, curiosity, and a passion for collaborating in multidisciplinary teams that combine legal, risk, data and technology expertise.
