What you’ll be doing
You will be part of the Client Segmentation, Insights & Analytics Team which is dedicated to deepening PBB’s understanding of its clients, driving data-driven strategies, and enabling personalized, impactful engagement. Through advanced segmentation, comprehensive analytics, and actionable insights, the Team empowers business leaders to make informed decisions and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Your role will support the Director, Mass Affluent Client Insights & Analytics. This team is responsible for delivering key insights and KPI tracking to drive Mass Affluent client growth in advisor portfolios. Key focus areas for this role will include: Developing a full suite of analytical solutions including opportunity sizing, business planning, forecasting, target setting, KPI dashboards, business casing and ad-hoc analysis. Using data to build client engagement leads to help prioritize clients in the right offer and collaborate with National Office to deliver Mass Affluent segment growth through analyzing Imperial Service and Associate Financial Advisor clients.

How you’ll succeed
Data savvy - Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of analytics, business case and visual analytic tools such as Tableau or Power BI that leverage industry best practices. Recommend improvements to overall analytical approach for the team through interaction with internal stakeholders and through industry research. Comfortable with the end to end analytical process from ETL (extract, transform, load) to synthesizing and presenting insights. Knowledge of SAS, SQL or Python are required. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks is an asset
Understand business needs - Understand the business context behind a analytics need and manage scope and project timelines. Communicate analytical findings clearly to a non-technical audience/user. Have excellent organization skills to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity under strict timelines.
Relationship management - Form strong working relationships with key partners and senior leaders across the Bank (Client Strategy, Imperial Service National Office, Personal Banking National Office, Sales Effectiveness, Enterprise Analytics), as well as, external data vendors. Advise and inform Imperial Service and Associate Financial Advisor partners on performance to target to ensure we deliver on board KPI.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience. 5+ years of experience in the banking sector (preferred) and strong skills in applied statistics and mathematics. You can demonstrate good working knowledge of various data analytics tools (SAS, SQL, MS Excel) and visual analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau). Comfortable working with Big Data and have experience with report automation.
