Within Ingram Micro, the EMEA Cloud Unified Services Centre brings together specialist consulting, delivery, and technical expertise to help partners and end-customers design, implement, and adopt modern technology solutions.

Our Azure Data & AI practice focuses on turning data into value—leveraging cloud platforms, analytics, machine learning, and AI to help organisations make better decisions, operate more intelligently, and unlock new opportunities. We work collaboratively across technical and commercial teams to deliver high-quality customer outcomes while building repeatable, scalable services that support long-term growth across EMEA.

The role and its purpose

As a Senior Consultant – Azure Data & AI, you will play a key role in designing, shaping, and delivering modern data and AI solutions for partners and end-customers across EMEA. You will act as a senior technical contributor on complex engagements, supporting the full lifecycle from discovery and solution design through to implementation and handover—while also helping to grow the practice through mentoring, service development, and thought leadership.

What you will do

• Lead technical qualification, discovery, and solution design for Azure Data & AI engagements
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable Azure data and AI architectures
• Design, implement, and validate modern data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions
• Contribute to statements of work, scope definitions, effort estimates, and delivery assumptions
• Act as a senior technical lead within projects, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities early
• Support customer adoption of analytics, machine learning, and generative AI solutions on Azure
• Produce high-quality architecture, implementation, and handover documentation
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and go-to-market propositions

Your experience and capabilities

• 5+ years’ experience in a technical consulting or delivery role
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-based data and AI solutions on Azure
• Strong understanding of Azure data and analytics services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, Azure AI services)
• Experience with analytics, data engineering, machine learning, or AI solution design and delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish; other European languages (e.g., French, Italian, German) are a plus.
• Ability to engage confidently with customers, translating complex challenges into practical solutions
• Experience contributing to workshops, discovery sessions, and pre-sales technical discussions
• Strong communication skills, with the maturity to lead, influence, and mentor others
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
