Our EMEA Cloud Unified Services Centre brings together deep consulting, delivery, and engineering expertise to support the complete services lifecycle—from early solution qualification and design to implementation and successful handover. Within this, our AWS Data & AI practice helps organizations unlock value from modern cloud data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and AI. We work shoulder to shoulder with partners, customers, and internal teams to build scalable, repeatable services that evolve with the market.

The role: purpose and impact

As a Senior Consultant, AWS Data & AI, you will play a key role in designing and delivering modern data and AI solutions that help partners and end-customers realize tangible business value on AWS. You will be a senior technical contributor on complex engagements, a trusted advisor to customers, and a mentor within a growing, collaborative practice spanning Spain and the UK.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead technical qualification, discovery, and solution design for AWS Data & AI engagements
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable AWS architectures
• Design and deliver cloud data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions
• Act as a senior technical lead on complex projects and workstreams
• Contribute to Statements of Work, scope definitions, estimates, and delivery assumptions
• Ensure high-quality documentation, knowledge transfer, and successful solution handover
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for expanded customer value
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to repeatable services, accelerators, and propositions

What you bring to succeed

• 5+ years’ experience in a technical consulting or professional services role
• Proven experience designing and delivering AWS-based data and AI solutions
• Strong knowledge of AWS data, analytics, and AI/ML services
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish; other European languages (e.g., French, Italian, German) are a plus.
• Experience engaging directly with customers in discovery, workshops, and delivery
• Hands-on experience with modern data architectures, pipelines, and analytics platforms
• Exposure to machine learning or AI model development, deployment, or enablement
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to lead and support others
