Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager (Construction) to join our team! In this role you will lead on-site construction supervision and delivery activities for a major development program in Qatar, ensuring construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and schedule requirements.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee site-wide construction operations, coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure effective progress monitoring across complex multi-zone developments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction supervision and site management activities across major development zones.
  • Direct daily construction operations to ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to maintain effective site-wide communication and construction progress.
  • Monitor contractor performance, construction sequencing, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Implement site-wide coordination processes, including contractor interface meetings and progress tracking across multiple work packages.
  • Oversee logistics planning, site access strategies, and enabling works to ensure efficient construction operations.
  • Manage package-level construction progress across infrastructure, buildings, marine works, landscape, and associated facilities.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Review contractor technical submissions, respond to RFIs, and ensure timely resolution of construction-related technical issues.
  • Implement look-ahead planning, construction sequencing reviews, and method statement evaluations to support efficient site execution.
  • Coordinate closely with design and project controls teams to ensure alignment between construction milestones, design deliverables, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports and construction status updates to project leadership and client representatives.

What Required Qualification & Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in construction supervision and site management on large-scale projects.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a PMC/PMCM or client-representative role managing construction delivery.
  • Proven experience delivering complex mixed-use, infrastructure, or major venue developments such as stadiums, marinas, hospitality developments, or transport-related facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-zone, fast-track construction programs within the GCC region, preferably in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, site supervision practices, and contractor coordination procedures.
  • Experience leading daily construction supervision, progress monitoring, safety compliance, and quality assurance activities.
  • Proven capability in site-wide coordination, contractor interface management, and schedule risk mitigation.
  • Experience managing construction package tracking across infrastructure, buildings, marine works, landscape, and related assets.
  • Strong expertise in construction sequencing, look-ahead planning, and site safety audits.
  • Experience reviewing technical submissions, responding to RFIs, and enforcing non-compliance reporting procedures.
  • Familiarity with construction reporting tools and dashboards, including Primavera P6, Power BI, and MS Project.
  • Ability to integrate construction milestones with design deliverables and commissioning schedules.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent construction management certification preferred.
  • UPDA Grade A certification (Qatar) is desirable for construction supervision roles.
  • Safety training such as NEBOSH or OSHA certification is beneficial.
