Senior Configuration Manager We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Configuration Manager to support the full hardware and software lifecycle within a complex enterprise environment. This role will ensure accountability, compliance, and visibility of assets while partnering with logistics, engineering, procurement, and finance teams. The Configuration Manager will oversee database accuracy, manage material flow, and play a key role in audits, license compliance, and defect resolution. What you will be doing: Managing receipt of materials, licenses, and related assets throughout the hardware/software lifecycle. Logging and maintaining accuracy of records within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with configuration management stakeholders. Collaborating with procurement and finance teams to plan purchases, ensuring license compliance and continuity of support. Coordinating with logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams for equipment movement. Assisting in processing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for warranty and maintenance-related hardware failures. Partnering with engineering teams to maintain consistency, visibility, and accountability of records. Providing flexible support to Windows system administration and tiered support teams as needed. Contributing to system-level analysis, trade studies, and recommending engineering approaches, architectures, and solutions. Supporting design, development, testing, and deployment of systems, including embedded or real-time software, device drivers, or signal processing algorithms. What you need: Experience: Strong working knowledge of configuration management practices and database systems for hardware/software accountability. Familiarity with procurement systems, accountable property processes, and logistics coordination. Experience supporting audits, license compliance, and lifecycle tracking of IT assets. Ability to collaborate effectively with logistics, procurement, engineering, and finance teams. Flexibility to provide support across system administration and technical teams. Technical Skills (Preferred): Background in system analysis, architecture recommendations, and engineering trade studies. Experience with software/hardware lifecycle support, embedded systems, or specialized drivers. Education & Professional Experience: B.S.E.E. or other technical degree with no professional experience required, OR No degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. Mindset: Highly organized, detail-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.The likely salary range for this position is $155,824 - $210,820. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
