Who you are:
As a Senior Computer Operator with Frost, you are our technological whiz. In this role you will monitor and control one or more mini or mainframe computer by operation the central console or on-line terminals. You will use your focus and attention to study program operation sheets to determine equipment set up and run operations. You are eager to accept the challenge to find resolutions to problems. Most importantly, this role is about providing top-quality service and keeping integrity, caring and excellence top of mind.
What you’ll do:
Observe the operation of the console panel, storage devices, printers, and the action of the console dashboards, detailed logs and vendor tickets to monitor the system and determine the point of equipment or program failure
Ability to open and track service work orders and all system job processes, support the utilities involving ATMs, and coordinate with vendors
Monitor, maintain, and interact with multiple network platforms like mainframe and Citrix environment
Set-up monitors and control computer operations and peripheral equipment
Manipulates controls in accordance with standard procedures to rearrange sequence of job steps to continue operations when individual units of the system malfunction
Research error messages
Maintain operating records such as machine performance and production reports
Ability to provide after-hours support for end users by resolving minor issues and escalating unresolved issues to on call personnel
Confer with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel in the event errors require a change of instructions or sequence of operations

What you’ll need:
Experience in midrange and as a mainframe computer operator
Experience in Z/os mainframe skills with batch processing
Knowledge of Jes2 operator commands, scheduling packages, and ATM support
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
If needed, the ability to work coverage on holidays
If needed, the ability to rotate work shifts
Additional Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL), ASG Zeke Job Scheduler, and ZOS commands
