Position Responsibilities:
Management and oversight of employees and managers performing activities across multiple job families and locations.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Develops and motivates employees and first-level managers, both direct-report and dotted-line.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Design and lead the Fabrication Compliance Audit Program for domestic and international sites, including development of advanced and agile audit techniques and layered audit strategies in partnership with Operations.
Establish and maintain governance and communication cadences with senior leadership, FAA, and MBUs to share best practices, review KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
Provides education and coaching on the BCA Quality Management System (QMS), FAA regulatory requirements, PC700 compliance and Safety Management System (SMS) integration.
Leads organization with primary responsibility for Quality System oversight activities, including FAA inquiries, audits, case management, voluntary disclosures, and investigations.
Support the Fabrication DQMR’s as the primary consultant/spokesperson on high‑level QMS, NCCPA, SMS, and regulatory policy, advising executive leadership across all functions on audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Act as the principal liaison with FAA, ODA, RQSO and other regulatory authorities; interpret regulations and provide clear, actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
Coach and guide cross‑functional teams on problem solving for systemic and unusually complex issues, developing creative, precedent‑setting solutions and overseeing corrective action verification and BPSM guidance.
Ensure high‑quality completion of scheduled audits to maintain customer and regulator trust, provide evidence for BCA QMS Self‑Governance, and support ongoing compliance performance monitoring.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
5+ years of experience leading systematic problem solving.
2+ years of experience interfacing with the FAA and/or other certification regulatory agencies.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree
Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.
Experience with Quality Standards such as AS9100
