The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join the Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) team supporting the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) subdivision. In this senior individual contributor role, you will serve as the primary communications lead to the PES sub-division VP and leadership team, owning the development and execution of the sub-division’s strategic communications plan and partnering with the PES communications specialist on the nested program plans. You will shape and deliver communications that highlight Boeing’s work in defensive capabilities and offensive weapon systems that serve and protect U.S. military customers and allies worldwide. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntsville, Alabama.
We’re seeking a candidate who can convey clear, concise, and consistent messages across numerous communications channels and multimedia formats. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the SI&WS Senior Communications Manager and PES Communications Specialist, to effectively execute internal and external communication plans, ensuring that our initiatives are successfully communicated and understood.
To be successful, you will be a strong and strategic project manager, proactively seek out communications opportunities, establish yourself as a collaborative teammate, demonstrate exceptional writing and editing skills, and have strong experience with media relations, application of relevant communications tools and processes, and working with other functions and business partners as part of a geographically dispersed team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, communication, content creation and project management skills, with a proven ability to turn complex technical information into engaging narratives.
