Senior Communications Manager

The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager to support communications execution and alignment for Unity in South Korea. This role will serve as a key bridge between global communications priorities and local market execution, ensuring messaging consistency, stakeholder alignment, and strong day-to-day coordination with external PR partners.

This is a 5-month contingent opportunity running from June 8 through November 7, 2026. In the near term, success in this role means maintaining smooth communications operations in Korea, supporting timely reviews and approvals, and helping shape Korea-relevant PR angles based on global direction. Over the course of the assignment, success means strengthening the consistency and effectiveness of Unity’s communications approach in Korea through clear coordination, strong cross-functional alignment, and trusted local agency management.

This role is well suited for someone who is strong in communications program management, stakeholder coordination, and local market execution within a fast-moving global environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead day-to-day coordination with Unity’s local PR agency, including briefs, reviews, approvals, and timeline management.
  • Ensure Korea communications activities are aligned with global narratives, positioning, and messaging priorities.
  • Identify and shape Korea-relevant PR angles based on global strategy and communications direction.
  • Coordinate stakeholder alignment and approval routing for key communications moments, including press release synchronization as needed.
  • Support smooth execution of local communications programs by connecting regional and global teams, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Ability to manage communications workflows across agency partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of messaging alignment and how to adapt global communications priorities for local market relevance.
  • Experience coordinating reviews, approvals, and timelines for external communications activities.
  • Ability to identify locally relevant media angles from broader global strategies and narratives.
  • Professional communication skills in Korean and basic business proficiency in English.

You might also have

  • Experience working with PR agencies.
  • Familiarity with the South Korean media landscape.
  • Experience planning and executing a press conference and/or media briefings/roundtables.
  • Established relationships with key IT and gaming media outlets in Korea.
