Description -
Are you a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of engineering excellence and supply chain agility? We are looking for a Senior Commodity Program Manager to join our Personal Systems team.
In this role, you won’t just manage schedules—you’ll be the architect of our commodity strategy, driving multi-source initiatives and ensuring our next-generation hardware reaches the finish line without a hitch. If you have a knack for navigating complex technical roadmaps and the gravitas to lead global cross-functional teams, we want to talk to you.
Strategic Leadership: Drive the commodity roadmap, defining project specifications and executing cost-reduction programs that directly impact the bottom line.
Operational Excellence: Lead multi-functional teams through the entire lifecycle—from prototype builds and logistics to full-scale qualification plans.
Risk Mitigation: Anticipate shortage risks before they happen. You’ll develop and execute robust mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity in a dynamic market.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the bridge between System Teams, ODMs, and Engineering. You’ll lead core team meetings, ensuring transparent communication and rapid issue debugging.
Financial Stewardship: Optimize costs through aggressive multi-source strategies, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) negotiations, and detailed ROI analysis.
Mentorship: Elevate the team by mentoring junior members and championing best-of-breed processes in documentation and technology integration.
You are a seasoned pro with a "get it done" mindset and the emotional intelligence to lead through influence.
Experience: 15+ years of heavyweight experience in Program Management, specifically within the commodity or hardware electronics space.
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field.
Technical Savvy: Deep familiarity with commodity qualification (IUR configuration, resource review) and the nuances of "buy and sell" commodity models.
Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical hurdles into actionable updates for executive stakeholders.
Precision: A disciplined approach to governance, from meeting agendas to rigorous action-item tracking.
