Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts by collaborating with outside sales associates to expand light commercial HVAC, water-source heat pump, and specialty product market share.
  • Develop sales plans and critical initiatives to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers
  • Assist in establishing inventory levels though effective forecasting activities and uphold pricing discipline to maximize profitability.
  • Partner with Commercial Mechanical, HVAC and Res Trade teams to grow market share and increase share of wallet and new business development.
  • Coordinate with the local Light Commercial quotations team to ensure alignment on pricing, product specifications, and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales team to align commercial HVAC product strategy with sales execution in the field
  • Support face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers
  • Drive over-market growth by driving performance and visibility of available brands within the Region
  • Prioritize vendor-led training sessions and deliver in-depth product training and demonstrations to internal teams and customers
  • Work closely TSA team to improve market efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
  • This role will spend approximately 60% of their time in the field with sales reps and working with customers
  • This role is hands-on in pricing and bid execution, with direct ownership of vendor cost collaboration and the development of customer-facing quotes and bid packages through our internal systems and resources.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven experience in technical sales, product support or related field
  • Possesses specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Solid understanding of commercial products and systems, product positioning, and customer application
  • Candidate must live in market.

Pay Range:

$8,183.34 - $13,100.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
