ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape our fashion, sports and retail verticals with the Quidco brand. You’ll be responsible for managing key relationships, delivering commercial outcomes, and supporting the development of new initiatives that align with our growth ambitions.
As Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our Insurance offering is competitive, compliant, and commercially successful. You’ll also play a key role in strategic projects that require commercial insight, partner engagement, and delivery focus.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Providing exceptional, pro-active leadership and account management across your designated accounts.
Management of an account manager, ensuring a relentless focus on hitting targets and high levels of performance.
Work with the Head of Commercial to drive forward strategic priorities for Quidco, that will benefit our partners and our members.
Maximise partner performance on Quidco by enhancing their presence through use of promotional inventory and ideation and execution of relevant seasonal campaign opportunities.
Work closely with the merchandising team to capitalise on opportunities presented by market, category and seasonal trends
Establish strong relationships with partners, affiliate networks, and agencies by attending events and meetings.
Proactively selling onsite and email advertising inventory with a firm focus on what is needed to hit targets
Providing reporting and organising performance reviews with partners to incentivise higher advertising spend and better offers for our members.
Working as part of the Commercial team to help each other achieve shared and individual goals.
Monitoring market developments and competitors, providing relevant insight to the business and generating ideas to capitalise on opportunities or manage risk.
Ownership of trading for your sector, ensuring you fully understand and are able to articulate what is driving performance.
Increase team profile, engaging internal colleagues with the benefits of our team.
Working closely with your commercial peers, ensuring your own standards are high and driving the same accountability through the rest of the team.
What do you need to excel in this role?
Essential:
A natural flare for building relationships and a desire to meet key contacts face to face on a regular basis.
Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders both externally and internally
Proficient sales skills and the ability to solve partner’s problems with group solutions.
Confident communicator with the ability to make complex topics and issues understandable.
Excellent time management and organisational skills that enable you to manage workflow and meet deadlines.
A natural curiosity and desire to innovate and try new things.
You’ll have a results-driven approach with a focus on closing deals, achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
You’ll have a creative approach to problem solving with strong attention to detail, always producing high quality work.
Take charge of your own personal growth and development while ensuring that it aligns with the yearly performance goals set by the organization.
Fast learner and eager to deepen knowledge and understanding.
Ability to see the bigger picture and identify areas of opportunity and risk.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge of enterprise CRM platforms e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot
Experience in affiliate marketing ideally
Experience of managing a team

Following an initial screening call with a TA Partner;
1. 30mins call to run through your experience and the role in more depth
2. 60–90-minute interview including a task that will be sent out prior to you and both competency and behavioural questions.
