Senior Cloud Engineer – Public & Private Cloud 

 

Are you a cloud engineering expert who enjoys shaping strategy while solving complex technical challenges? In this senior-level role, you will provide thought leadership and hands-on engineering expertise across public and private cloud environments. You will design, build, and evolve cloud solutions that support critical business initiatives, while advising leaders and partnering across teams. We are looking for a curious, collaborative professional who combines deep technical skill with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the design and delivery of complex public and private cloud solutions that align with the organization’s cloud strategy and business goals. 

• Engineer agentic workflows using platforms such as AWS Bedrock and/or Azure AI Foundry to accelerate solution development and innovation. 

• Develop foundational cloud solutions using GitOps practices and agile methodologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and reuse. 

• Provide technical leadership across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, and OpenShift. 

• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate cloud technologies, recommend solutions, and guide architecture decisions. 

• Support the integration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of cloud architectures within existing IT environments. 

• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and influencing best practices across teams. 

Qualifications 

Required 

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT or cloud engineering experience. 

• Strong experience designing and engineering cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure environments. 

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or PowerShell. 

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows. 

• Ability to script using languages such as Python or Go. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related field. 

• One or more AWS or Azure certifications. 

• Experience working across multiple cloud providers, including OCI and GCP. 

• Familiarity with agentic development tools to accelerate solution delivery. 


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
