WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
Automation plays a key role in improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our technology platforms. As an Automation Engineer, you will help streamline operational and engineering processes by designing repeatable automation patterns and intelligent workflows.
You will work closely with platform engineers, operations teams, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions using scripting, software development, and AI-driven tools. Your work will help reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and enable teams to focus on higher-value tasks.
Success in this role means building practical, reusable automation solutions that simplify complex processes and continuously improve how we operate our technology platforms, both in cloud and on-prem.
We target to build the complex automations across all Group IT (Internal IT) and as part of a specialized cloud team, you will join skilled peers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Design and implement automation solutions for operational and engineering processes using repeatable and scalable patterns
Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python or C#
Identify manual or repetitive tasks and transform them into automated workflows and reusable automation components
Build and integrate AI-driven automation using platforms such as Microsoft Foundry and Copilot Studio
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate automation into existing platforms and processes
Continuously improve automation frameworks, documentation, and best practices across teams
WHAT WE VALUE
Experience developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, C#, or similar scripting/programming languages
Experience automating operational processes or platform workflows in enterprise environments
Interest or experience working with AI-driven automation, agents, or workflow tools such as Microsoft Foundry or Copilot Studio
Ability to design reusable automation patterns that can be applied across multiple teams or systems
Relevant certification from Microsoft or similar in coding or AI
Comfort collaborating with engineering, platform, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities
