Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Cloud Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure SSO and Intune MDM: with a focus on systems reliability, security, scalability and cost management. This role will involve close collaboration with our AI, Data Analytics, Security and Compliance teams to ensure that Microsoft Cloud and mobility environments meet regulatory requirements and adhere to company policies.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Azure cloud environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL Databases, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Load Balancer.
- Configure and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost, and security.
- Manage and administer Microsoft Intune MDM and SSO configurations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Create and Maintain application access within business process flows with the use of Service Principals and Key Vault resources.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, network security groups, encryption, and identity management.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement and maintain security controls, audit logging, and compliance standards in Azure environments.
- Administer Azure Databricks clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor Azure costs and usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies, features, and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in Azure environments.
- Implement and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Plan and execute Azure migrations and upgrades in coordination with other IT teams.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in administering Azure cloud and Microsoft on-prem system environments.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and solutions, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Security Center, and Azure Monitor.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate experience level in the following areas:
- Power BI Workspace Administration and Management
- Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
- Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Azure cost management and optimization techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Azure Databricks administration with data warehousing technologies managed with Azure Synapse Analytics
