What You'll Do:
Perform activities supporting the clinical research and development of imaging products/drug products/diagnostics. Determine the safety & effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatments.
Closely connect with MIM product teams, explore unmet clinical and technical needs with external collaborators, identify new research needs and generate clinical evidence.
Work with physicians, scientists and key opinion leaders in the clinical and academic setting to gain/maintain deep understanding of the field of Nuclear Medicine and innovation needs. Propose and prioritize collaborative research and scientific activities in-support of strategic initiatives.
Support collaborative academic and clinical partners in clinical research with emphasis on assigned key academic and clinical sites in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
Seek out, develop, and maintain academic partners and understand their strengths and collaboration interests. Work with collaborators and product teams to solicit investigator-initiated research proposals.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required. Masters degree and/or PhD preferred but not required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in a clinical, academic or research setting may be considered.
Clinical domain expertise with Nuclear Medicine research and study designs in a clinical, academic, or industrial setting is preferred but not required.
Experience and familiarity with clinical and anatomical knowledge bases, as well as clinical environments and academic and/or research collaborations.
Proficient programming and/or algorithmic development experience preferred but not required.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities with strong communication skills.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with clinical professionals, as well as a variety of internal multidisciplinary teams.
Willing to travel periodically to attend medical conferences.
